How To Cut

Benefits of CLEANSHEAR Cutter

FLEXTRAY can be formed into nearly any configuration by simply cutting the wires and bending to your preferred radius. By using a CLEANSHEAR Cutter, material is cut correctly for a safe, finished edge.

Cutting FLEXTRAY

Flextray Exclusive

When FLEXTRAY is correctly cut with a CLEANSHEAR Cutter, a galvanic protective layer occurs. Galvanic action will occur when the zinc coating near the cut area reacts with the bare steel of the cut giving it a thin layer of zinc protection. This Galvanic protected layer of zinc will help prevent oxidation.
